You’re invited to a party. A birthday party. America’s Birthday party to be exact.
Check out America’s very first birthday party here:
I have been the host of one too many parties where I got caught cleaning up afterwards – I mean seriously cleaning and remembering that my floor does have tile under all that dirt, spilled beer, and random bottles.
Try being a considerate guest when celebrating 4th of July this year.
- Pick up your bottles & recycle accordingly. Or purchase a keg or growler & encourage your guests to bring their favorite beer stein or chilled mug – or at least their favorite glass & koozie. Need a festive cocktail? Check out ideas at Laurel on Health Food!
- Don’t leave your sparkler butts all around the yard. Contrary to some beliefs – they are not biodegradable, nor are they decorative. Dispose of properly.
- Having a grill-out for America’s bday? Make sure your charcoal is not burning after you are done using it. Remember, you too can prevent forest fires.
Wishing you a fun, festive and SAFE 4th of July!
