Potted plants are great for a small setting such as apartments. I've also grew my own tomatoes. It is delicious with a pinch of salt. Some how the salt makes it sweet! My next project is a roof garden. I think that roof gardens are the future. For one, they help keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. This means that it reduces your electricity bill and your gas bill. In the near future, construction will consume most of our land because we are humans and we must expand our dominance. Needless to say, we will run out of space to have a personal garden to grow fruits and vegetables.

Thanks for sharing about SharingGardens, I think it's a great idea! We may not always have the space or a garden to grow things but since we spend most of our time indoors, we should consider putting more plants around for cleaner, healthier indoor air.

You are lucky your boyfriend has a green thumb. As for me, I also love gardening and lucky enough to have my space to plant. I think anyone can grow a a plant even if they think they don't have the talents. The key to that is to add extra care and know the do's and don'ts of planting. One factor while plants is maybe they are over-water or ever expose to the sun and the like.

I hope that you enjoy planting as much as your boyfriend do. Lets make our nation a greener place.
