There is nothing I like more than going out with a couple of friends on a Friday night to have a little unwinding from a long week.
I came across a site that will make this evening an enviornmental occassion: EcoDrinking.com.
This site uses more than 30 criteria to determine a ranking for night spots, everything from vegan ingredients to charitable contributions to clean products is evaluated in this ranking process.
Unfortunately, it only shows a limited number of cities at this point. While Orlando isn’t currently listed on the site, it has definitely given me something to think about evaluating my favorite bars. When I looked at Chicago, there looked like a really cool eco-friendly bar called Funky Buddha Lounge. Its decor is cool, but its Green Credits include: LED Lighting, Orgnaic Drinks, Recycled Materials, and Tempurature Regulating materials – a total score of 123!
