I found quite a few interesting blogs, pictures, and articles this week and wanted to share with you. I hope you enjoy them, and have a great weekend!
Design Contest Announced: Green Patriot Posters - Do you have an artistic talent or have a flair for great one liners? Enter this contest to create a poster “to spread awareness and inspire action in response to climate change.”
Moving Day Without All the Waste - Check out this NYTimes article on re-thinking your moving process. There’s lots of options outside the dreaded cardboard box.
A Twentysomething’s Guide to Going Green - Read Tracy Helper’s easy ideas for doing your part for the planet. She’s got some great, simple ideas….but I’m still skeptical of an organic tequila that tastes better than Patron. Are you sure Tracy???!!!!
Recycle Your Brita Filter - Brita is offering drop-off locations to recycle their filters. Check it out to find the locations near you.
National Geographic Photo of the Day - This link is one of my new favorites. Today’s picture features a diver jumping gracefully off a cliff in Mexico with the sunset as a backdrop. I wish I was there to see it.
A side note: Last Sunday was the first time I ever saw snow, and it was absolutely gorgeous and perfect. I was in NYC and was walking past dozens of New Yorkers who didn’t even look up (I can’t blame them). But, this Florida girl was loving every snowflake that hit her right in the face. Isn’t it great how new experiences boost your appreciation for the small things in life? Mother Nature and I had a few moments together in the bitter cold up north. Bring on the snow baby!

Hello! Thanks for mentioning my Huff Post Blog. I am very serious when I say that the 4 Copas Tequila tastes better than Patron. I hosted a taste test at my last party and it won by a long shot. I personally like the tequila blanco and to chase it down with a blood orange rather than a lime.
Plus this could be in my head, but I didn’t find the hang over to be as bad. Seriously try it out!

Thanks Tracy! I’ll definitely try it out.

I also support the idea of recycling because by getting the waste recycled you make the environment pollution free…Go green!
