During a recent trip to Manhattan, my friend gave me this adorable little spork made from 100% organic-grown bamboo. It’s only 3.5″ long and I love it.

It comes from a company called Bambu that makes renewable home and kitchen products using sustainable practices and creative design.

This little spork was such a great gift, and I’ve been using it for lunches at my desk. It would also be a great present for someone who likes to go camping because it would fit easily into a pocket or wallet (of course you’d want to wash between uses, hehe).

Just wanted to share a lovely green product line! You can learn more about Bambu’s organic materials and sustainable practices here.

I’m so glad I found this blog! That spork is so adorable that I might even go buy one. Bamboo is an awesome material for making many different home and kitchen products. Our floors in the front of our office is made from bamboo! Thanks for this post.. I’ve decided that I WILL go out and buy a couple of Bambu sporks! :)

Not sure if it is from the same company or not, but Wal-Mart is starting to carry some bamboo product in the kitchen ware line for exactly this same reason. What I saw the one time I was there a bit back was like kitchen draw organizers in bamboo instead of plastic. Organic in nature, biodegradable when the need to toss is there, and renewable too…

Isn’t this a superb gift idea? I love your little Bamboo spork! I can think of a whole bunch of folks who love picnics and will be able to use this spork.
