Energy Independence Day

Four days after the United States celebrated its birthday, it is celebrating Energy Independence day.

T. Boone Pickens has declared today, July 8th, Energy Independence Day.  It marks the one year anniversary of the launch of the Pickens Plan.  Check out an original GTB post about the Pickens Plan just a week or so after its initial launch.

Pickens is currently asking for your support (and mine) in a virtual march to ask the US legislature to support the sale of vehicles that run on domestic, natural gas.
