This is great! Last night over dinner my husband and I were having a conversation about if we should do mailed Christmas cards this year. We agreed that we should do a friendly greeting over e-mail. Since some people think e-mailed cards are not a supplement for the real thing, I think I will do a "disclaimer" as to WHY we are doing it over it. Now the only predicament - what about our family that does not have e-mail? -L (onthefox.blogspot.com)

We operate the largest certified organic beef ranch in the USA. (585,000 acres) not a small chunk of property. None of it is public lands, we own it. Our cattle are 100% grass fed on mountain meadows that range from 4,000 to 12,000 feet in elevation. Our cattle share the land with all of god's creators, including grizzly bears and now the Yellowstone wolf. As 5th generation rancher we understand the balance of nature and the wild. We manage our livestock the same way. They are free to roam on our 90 square miles of certified organic rocky mountain high range. We raise the beef, we custom processes (USDA) the beef, we package and ship direct to customers

Gas powered lawn mowers are far more polluting than cars. Check-out this website at whispermow.com. It is an all electric riding lawnmower that can mow over 1 acre. It is quiet and no gas, oil or pollution to run it.

To Ray. While I agree with you comments on electric power plants, if we are going to really make a difference we need to take a practical approach to the solution. So while producting electricity with coal may be carbon producing, the overall carbon foot-print will be significantly reduced with products like the electric car and electric lawnmower. Technology will allow coal to burn cleaner and other technology like wind will evolve to supplement electricity supply.

This adorable clutch would be great for a night out or as a handy makeup bag. The outside of the bag is made from 200 recycled aluminum can tabs and nylon thread. The inside has a nylon liner and a zipper to close it.
